About the Event
Do you have a passion for films, documentaries, new reporting and journalism?
We can groom you in one month through 3 weekly workshops in story telling , reporting, citizen journalism, script writing, direction, editing, production, location scouting camera work , sound and cinematography.
After 3 workshop you will shoot your first film, documentary or a smart report using our in-house mobile technology and editing software in just a week’s time.
We will help you make your poster, help you market your product on social media, give you media contacts and make you a complete package ready for you to send your film to any film festival around the globe including our very own film festival Ismartfilms.
3 weekly workshop cost: 2500 for each week
4th week from shooting to editing your first film (complete week): 15k (4th week will not be compulsory to attend only those who have learned enough in 3 weeks and want to make a film can opt for the 4th week film making / journalism reporting option)

You will be taught by US educated award winning filmmaker, screenwriter, director and editor ASAD MUSTAFA. He has also contributed for the express tribune & the News International and has a background of journalism as well.
His short film letter from Syria was selected for multiple festivals abroad. His first documentary One Hundred Smiles were nominated for best concept award at FILUMS.
